Elizabeth A. Russ, Ph.D.
Dr. Elizabeth A. Russ is a founding principal of AXIA Management Consultants. Her experience spans both corporate and consulting environments and professional and consumer markets. She has over 20 years experience across the broad range of the health care field. During her tenure in the industry she has dealt with business challenges with products from needs assessment through lifecycle management, and with management issues from investment opportunity assessment through process optimization and customer satisfaction.
Liz has special interest and expertise in accessing and leveraging deep customer insight to create
more targeted franchise product and branding strategies
and in early commercial opportunity identification and assessment.
She is also especially interested in the development and use of information in decision making. She has helped organizations manage and structure their research and analysis function and optimize research processes. She has introduced novel information collection and management approaches to many client organizations.
Prior to founding AXIA, Liz had a successful career in management consulting and market research organizations. On the corporate side, she has worked on product marketing teams with Johnson & Johnson (consumer products) and Bristol-Myers Squibb (ethical products).
Liz has a B.A. from Macalester College and Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Stirling, UK where her area of expertise was in memory and attention.
