Juliene L. Stafford, Ph.D. Dr. Juliene L. Stafford is a principal and founding partner of AXIA Management Consultants. Her areas of special expertise include health care systems analysis, business development, communication strategy formulation, the application of system dynamics and system thinking to support strategy identification and prioritization, and leveraging biomedical information from diverse perspectives to create business solutions for global success. Julie has extensive experience collaborating with biopharmaceutical marketing teams and advertising agencies to uncover less conscious emotions and imagery for improved communication. She also has distinctive experiences in developing special tools and techniques for achieving desired outcomes. For example, she conceived and directed innovative work that resulted in specific interventions to change patient behavior in medication compliance. Prior to founding AXIA, Julie was an executive at Bristol-Myers Squibb. She held several positions with increasing management responsibility in US and global marketing research, marketing effectiveness and early commercial assessment. Julie has a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Southern California and conducted postdoctoral work in the neurobiology of aging and Alzheimer’s disease at the University of Rochester Medical Center and at Massachusetts General Hospital.
